Billing & Refunds

Effective [effective date]

Buying a video

You buy videos one at a time. Each video shows its price before you pay. A purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and the video stays in your account for as long as the account and the Site exist, to stream on the Site. Each video's page also says whether it's streaming only or has a download included. Purchased videos are for your account only and can't be transferred or exchanged for cash.

Some videos are free: you only need a free account to watch them.

There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. You only pay when you choose to buy a video.

Who bills you

Payments are processed by CCBill, our authorised payment processor. The charge appears on your card or bank statement as [billing descriptor]. We never see or store your card details.

Refunds

Apart from that, videos you have bought are not refundable (in particular once you have downloaded them), except where the law gives you a right to a refund, where a video can't be played because of a fault on our side that we can't fix, or where we've charged you in error. We always refund duplicate charges. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the video is removed from your account.

If you're a consumer in the EU or UK: you have a 14-day right to withdraw from contracts for digital content, but it ends once you get access, because when you buy you ask us to give you access straight away and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw at that point.

If a video is removed

We may stop selling a video; people who bought it keep access. If we have to take a video you bought offline for good (for example after a legal complaint), we will refund it if you ask within 30 days of our notice.

Billing questions
